Your ImpactAs an Inspector, you are the final line of defense in delivering safe, reliable aerospace products. Your expertise in measurement, inspection, and compliance will directly support product integrity and mission success.
What You’ll Do- Inspect components and assemblies using precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and dial indicators
- Verify product compliance against blueprints, job instructions, and specifications
- Perform first article inspections in accordance with AS9102 standards
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify and report defects, non-conformities, and deviations in appropriate systems
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives
- Perform basic shop math to determine pass/fail criteria based on tolerances
- Maintain and properly use inspection tools and equipment
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with 6+ years of relevant experience, OR
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience - Ability to pass visual acuity and color vision tests
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
- Experience using precision measurement tools
- Basic computer skills and shop math knowledge
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical training in quality, inspection, or a related field
- Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with quality systems and inspection documentation processes

Pay Details: $31.03 per hour
